Adult Mental Health Clinic

The Catholic Family Center's Adult Mental Health Clinic is a NYS Certified Mental Health Clinic providing outpatient mental health treatment and medication therapy for admitted patients. Services are regulated and overseen by the NYS Office of Mental Health and the NYS Department of Health.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: This program provides services to most people who are diagnosed by a licensed professional as having a mental health disorder qualifying for admission. Some of the more common problems treated in the clinic include disorders associated with depression, anxiety, adjustment to difficult or crisis situations, and thought disorders and issues that may be related to learning disabilities. Most importantly, however, admission to the clinic is not certain until after a comprehensive evaluation has been done. Such an evaluation may take from 1-3 visits.

FEES: The Clinic accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care (Options Programs), Fidelis, and Blue Cross and their managed care programs. The clinic also sees patients based on a sliding scale as appropriate.

INTAKE PROCESS: Patients seeking services should call the Intake Screener in the Clinic Intake Office at (585) 546-7200. They will guide them the rest of the way regarding appointment setting, insurance requirements and any other questions they may have.

 

WALK IN HOURS: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
