Our shelters have ongoing needs for a variety of donated items to support our operation and to assist clients. Suggestions for donated items are provided by categories.

Helpful Hints
- If you are donating items that fit into several categories, please put like items together, and label bags or boxes to identify what they contain.
- Please donate only items that are unused or gently used.
- Consider giving the gift of time to help sort and organize our clothing rooms. Call to set up a time and location.
Household

Seasonal Specialty Items
Consider making a donation that makes a holiday special for our people in the shelters. Some seasonal items include:
- Easter baskets or supplies to help us make up Easter baskets
- Supplies to help celebrate the monthly children’s Birthday Party
- Christmas party supplies and decorations
- Halloween favors and treats
- Small items to use as prizes for games such as bingo
- Items for Mother’s Day (we give cookbooks and have a little store set up for children to pick out small gifts for their moms)
- Craft supplies and other items
These items are used to reduce the cost of operations for the programs that include Mom’s and Kids Together, the Word Wizard Program, the Men’s Recreation Program and Parenthood: Guiding My Child’s Journey.
