Programs for the Homeless
Catholic Family Center’s Homeless and Housing Services is the largest provider, 
and lead placement agency of emergency housing in Monroe County. Since 1989, Homeless & Housing Services has provided emergency and transitional housing for women, children and men.
Our shelters are always open and provide a safe, temporary home for those experiencing a housing crisis.
Refugee Resettlement Services
Programs for Refugees
As many as 400 refugees arrive in Rochester each year. Our goal is to provide services and assistance that promote self-reliance -- starting from the moment they arrive. We provide interpreter services, safe housing, language classes, job coaching, career counseling and access to financial assistance.
