The Latino program provides outpatient chemical dependency treatment for Latino clients ages 18 and older (and their families) who are dealing with chemical dependency. The program is provided entirely in Spanish by bilingual and bicultural staff. The program offers group formats to assist with addiction education and group therapy with a special emphasis on cultural issues related to the Latino clientele. Our program is designed to address the special issues of acculturation, cultural celebrations, and family roles and dynamics.
Co-occurring groups are provided in Spanish to serve clients with mental health and substance abuse problems. Our clients meet 2 to 3 times weekly in groups to address issues related to both chemical dependency and health.
All clients participate in individual, group and family therapy during their treatment at CFC. Special Latino family programs are offered throughout the year.
