Sometimes a simple, heartfelt gift of goods or services is the easiest way to have a direct impact and make a difference in somebody’s life.

Each of our facilities has unique needs – we’ve outlined some of them below.

Francis Center – Emergency and transitional shelter for men

Freedom House – Residential substance abuse treatment facility for men

Clothing: Underwear, socks, gloves, scarves, hats, long johns, sweaters (L, XL), coats (L, XL), sweatshirts up to 4x, slacks, shirts, casual and office attire

 Hospitality Packs: Toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair combs, shampoo, lotion, deodorant, cologne

Furniture: Twin bed frames, mattresses (twin and cot size), dressers and nightstands, easy chairs, recliners, lamps Bedding: Pillows, blankets, bedspreads, comforters, twin and double bed sheets (flat and fitted)

Miscellaneous: Alarm clocks, clock radios, desk lamps and small area rugs

 Bathroom: Bath towels and washcloths, shower curtains
Kitchen: Coffee maker, can openers, pots and pans, mugs and drinking glasses, paring knives, silverware, cooking utensils, dishes, dish towels, dish pans, dish cloths, drain board, Tupperware with covers 


Women’s Place & Sanctuary House – Emergency shelters for women and women with children

Hannick Hall – Residential substance abuse treatment facilities for women and women with children

Community Resource Services – Provides emergency food, clothing, counseling and referrals

Food: Any non-perishable food Clothing: Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing in good condition
Donations: Christmas and Thanksgiving donations for families in need 


Saint’s Place – Joint ministry of St. Louis Church and Catholic Family Center that collects household furnishings, stores them and sets up homes for refugee families

Bathroom: Shower liners/curtains/rings, bath and hand towels, washcloths, bath rugs, toiletries, wastebaskets, scales Kitchen: Table and chairs, tablecloths, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, mixing bowls, casseroles and baking pans, pitchers, kitchen towels, wastebaskets, tools

Appliances: Toasters, can openers, coffee makers, phones, mixers, radios, clocks, vacuum cleaners, microwaves

 Personal Items: Gift certificates to grocery stores, discount stores or drug stores; toys, watches, new underwear, new shoes

Bedroom: Beds, sheets, blankets, bedspreads, pillows, dressers, desks, night stands, lamps, clocks Living room: Sofas, tables, lamps, TVs, chairs
