Preventive Services is a contracted program with the Monroe County Department of Human Services. It is an in-home counseling program that serves children and families that are identified as being at risk of foster care and/or abuse and neglect. The program also helps to reunify families whose children are already in foster care. The premise of the program is to keep children in their own home or have them returned home sooner to their parents from foster care.
