Loan Services

Catholic Family Center has operated a Loan Services program since 1999. Loan Services address the transportation needs of working parents in Monroe, Ontario, and Wayne Counties.

Loan Services is for working parents who:Laon

  • Must be resident of designated service area.
  • Must be a US Citizen or a TANF Qualified Non-Citizen.
  • Must have gross household income (for applicant and family members) no greater than the current 200% of Poverty Income Standard
  • Must be a member of a family with a minor child or pregnant woman; non-custodial parent with a financial responsibility for a minor child; or an adult relative caring for a minor child.
  • Must be employed outside the home at least 35 hours per week with 6 months or more of continuous employment
  • Have a valid NYS driver’s license
  • Must have exhausted other available loan sources or have a history that would prevent loan approval from conventional lending sources.
  • Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to repay the loan as determined through the application process.

 

Our car loans help families:

  • Maintain employment
  • Build a positive credit history
  • Understand the importance of monthly household budgeting
  • Learn how to find a reliable used car

 

We provide low-interest loans for:

  • Auto purchase (used cars loans up to $5000)
  • Auto repair loans for a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $1500.

  • Reliant Community Credit Union
  • First Niagara Bank
