Every Child Needs a Good Home
helping children achieve stability

Therapeutic Foster Care provides a substitute family life experience for a child at a time of crisis or need in their life.

We provide for children when their family is unable or unwilling to provide the necessary care and support.

Our ultimate goal is to achieve permanence and stability for the children.

why children are placed in Therapeutic Foster Care

Children are placed for various reasons, including physical, sexual or emotional abuse, lack of housing, serious neglect, or severe family situations.

Nationally, there are approximately 513,000 children in foster care, most having been placed due to parental abuse and neglect.

In Monroe County alone, almost 800 youth are currently in foster care.

becoming a Foster Parent

In order to become a foster parent, you must be at least 21 years old, maintain financial stability...but most of all, we look for people who love kids and want to make a difference in their lives.
