Current Opportunities

Homeless and Housing
  • Help with child care activities
  • Become a facilitator in our Parenting Program offered at both Sanctuary House and Women’s Place
  • Become a mentor and participate in recreational activities with our men at Francis Center
  • Make a home cooked meal and serve our clients
  • Share your Time and Talent
Restart Residential Program
  • Host a baby shower or child’s birthday party
  • Help with child care, become a baby rocker
  • Host holiday events
  • Become a mentor
  • Provide transportation for our clients to appointments
  • Help with our Healthy Sisters' Soup and Bean Works Program
  • Donate clothing to our Residences Liberty Manor, Freedom House & Hannick Hall
Aging and Adult Services
  • Participate in our STAR Program providing non-medical home support to elders including grocery shopping, friendly visits, essential errands, light yard work and transportation
  • Visit our clients at our Senior Centers
  • Lend a hand to your Kinship program providing support to grandparents raising their grandchildren

Children, Youth, and Family
  • Become a mentor for our Unaccompanied Refugee Minor Program
  • Offer free legal services in the area of immigration
  • Help with child care
  • Tutor our youth in Math, English etc
Refugee Resettlement Services
  • Directly assist refugees through the initial series of routine medical, educational and social services appointments
  • Provide friendship and adult companionship to refugee youth
  • Assist with general back up support to the program
  • Provide clients with interpreting assistance
  • Help with the CFC ESL instruction
