Teen 180


Teen 180 is a program funded by the Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) of NY State for Juvenile Delinquent (JD)Youths ages 13-16 years old &Youth Services their families. Teen 180 is designed to equip teens with the knowledge & skills to succeed in school & in their communities. Teen 180 gives teens an opportunity to make positive choices and to unite with his/her family members toward the common goals of wellness & safety. A combination of direct counseling services and information & referrals will offer a comprehensive network of services that prevent future delinquency & promote excellence for the entire family.

Teen 180 is a free program funded by New York State (OCFS) for JD youth ages 13-16 years old & their families.

Referrals must be made by the probation officer.

 

Rochester After School Academy

Rochester After School Academy (RASA)is a part of Catholic Family Center's Children, Youth and Family Services Department and is based out of John Marshall High School.

This is a school based program that provides academic enrichment programs to help students improve attendance, behaviors, and to grow academically and personally.

RASA at John Marshall meetings Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3 hours after school and includes:

  • Free snack and dinner
  • Tutoring/homework help
  • Life skills training (etiquette, financial literacy, etc.)
  • Enrichment activities (games, arts, crafts, media)
  • Field Trips

Families and Youth Enrichment

The Families and Youth Enrichment (FAYE) Program provides intensive employment support and family care coordination.

Program Objectives:
To Provide:

  • Home-based care coordination for youth and family
  • Provide life support skills
  • Help with education planning
  • Job readiness training
  • Job placement and retention support
  • Access to referrals

Eligibility Requirements:

  • 16-21 years of age
  • Currently unemployed
  • Living in the City of Rochester
  • At risk of dropping out of high school (if applicable)

Student and Family Support Center

The Student and Family Support Center represents a school and community partnership, who together develop, coordinate, and provide a continuum of quality human/health services at John Marshall High School. This effort is designed to equip students with the skills and resources necessary to succeed academically, and in becoming members of their school and residential communities.
