Support CFC once again to end hunger in our community. Join your friends for soup donated by area chefs and select a handmade, one of a kind bowl created by local artists who wish to remind us that you can make a difference for someone whose bowl is empty.

Empty Bowls is a grassroots effort that raises awareness and money to address homelessness and hunger in towns and cities across the nation. Over 400 guests enjoy an evening of fellowship, accompanied by a simple supper of bread and soup. During the event, each guest selects a handcrafted bowl to keep as a reminder of the empty bowls people hold around the world.

Together, we can fill those empty bowls.

Proceeds benefit people in crisis served by Catholic Family Center throughout Monroe County. Enjoy a delicious dinner of locally donated soup, as well as local beer, wine, delectable desserts, LIVE music, and a silent auction filled with beautiful works of art.

In 2018, artists of all ages throughout the area donated over 600 bowls. Bowl sales and donations from generous sponsors netted more than $29,000 to address the needs of people in crisis here in Rochester.

Ticket Price - $30, available online and at the door. To purchase tickets, visit www.cfcrochester.org/events/ or call 262-7172

Ticket price includes: A beautiful handmade ceramic bowl, all the soup & bread you can eat, dessert, wine & beer tastings, a fabulous silent auction and musical entertainment.

We are grateful to all of our generous artists, soup chefs and sponsors, including our key sponsors Don’s Original and Wegmans.
