Rochester, NY… Catholic Family Center ground-breaking and interview opportunity Barrington House, addiction treatment community residence for women and children - 385 East Ridge Road in Rochester, New York.

We are requesting the honor of your presence June 1st at 10:00 am for a ground-breaking celebration of Barrington House, a community residence for women in recovery and their children. Joining CEO Marlene Bessette and Vice President Kristie Elias to kick off our opening ceremony will be County Executive Adam Bello, County Legislator Joseph Morelle, Jr., several locally owned development and construction corporate partners, and other area dignitaries and representative from our major State and County funders.

This renovated residence will be owned by Catholic Family Center and renovated with nearly $5 Million of support from the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS). With this renovation, we will be able to offer state of the art residential recovery support, including in-residence clinical and group treatment with a trauma-informed design. Barrington House will be the first community residence in Monroe County accommodating women in recovery and their children; our capacity will expand from serving 11 women to serving 23 women plus accommodations for 5 children.

We are excited for the continued expansion of our services to provide impactful support for the people we serve. And we are proud to contribute to the overall health of our community as we support women and their families on their recovery path.

We will provide you the opportunity to view the site, view “before” images and architectural design plans, and speak with staff about their aspirations for residential addiction treatment in our community. We look forward to your joining us for this special event.
