Catholic Family Center (CFC) is pleased to issue its 2018 Annual Report, detailing financial performance and outcomes, as well as program facts, client stories, and perspectives from staff to give you an inside view of our day to day work here at Catholic Family Center.

During 2018,

  • CFC served more than 25,000 individuals and families, 91% of whom live in poverty;
  • Through a new Greater Rochester Health Foundation grant, our mental health clinicians began a service to develop therapeutic relationships with homeless individuals in our shelters;
  • Sanctuary House re-opened its doors to women, and women with their children, serving about 900 people per year – nearly 500 of those are children; and
  • Our YouthBuild program opened to the community, and graduated our first three cohorts; and
  • We continued to walk with families on their individual journeys to become the best they can be….from infants to seniors and everything in-between.

The public can view the Annual Report on CFC's website.

CFC is made up of over 500 employees and volunteers, serving over 25,000 clients through over 45 programs and services in 19 locations throughout Monroe and Wayne Counties. "Our agency is working hard to prepare for a future that is full of uncertainty and rapid change, while never losing sight of the fact that every day, people come to us at one of life’s lowest points, and every day, our staff greets them with love, compassion, and support to give them hope," says Marlene Bessette, CEO of Catholic Family Center.
